I love using wire material to make playful art pieces. And because I also love reading physical books, the idea of creating a bookmark felt perfect. This bookmark is super easy to make. Here’s how you can make the same wire bookmark.

Supplies
- Colored wire – 18 gauge or 16 gauge
- Craft pliers – Cutting, looping, flat-nose
- Hammer

How to Make a Wire Flower Bookmark
Create the Flower Center
Take the wire bundle and form a small loop at the open end without cutting it from the bundle. This loop will serve as the center of the wire flower.
Shape the Flower
Wrap the wire around the loop 3 to 4 times to create the flower pattern.
Form the Leaf Base
Using flat-nose pliers, bend the wire at a 90-degree angle in the opposite direction of the flower’s twirl.
Start the Leaf
Bend the wire upward at a 45-degree angle to create one side of the leaf.
Complete the Leaf Shape
Bend the wire downward to form the other side of the leaf.
Refine the Leaf Tip
Use flat-nose pliers to press the bent part of the leaf, shaping the tip for a more defined look.
Finish the Leaf and Cut the Wire
Bend the wire inside the leaf outline from the bottom end, leaving about 2 cm along the middle. Then, cut the wire from the bundle.
Now you can use your Bookmark in your favorite book.
To use the wire flower as a bookmark, all you have to do is slide the flower portion (twirl part) inside a page.
