Ingredients:
- 1 1/2 to 2 cups mini pretzels
- 1 cup white chocolate
- orange, purple food coloring
- 3-4 tbsp. dark chocolate shavings
- 1 tbsp. sprinkles
- 2 tbsp. edible candy eyes
- 10 pins
- Various sprinkles and decorations
How to Make Chocolate Pretzel Treats
Step 1: Prepare the Owls
Cover a wooden board with cling film or parchment paper. Melt the dark chocolate in the microwave or a water bath.
Dip a pretzel in the melted chocolate using a fork and transfer it to the board.
Step 2:
Add candy eyes.
Step 3:
For the owl beak, cut Skittles in half and place them accordingly.
Step 4: Make the Ghosts
Spread melted white chocolate over pretzels and add candy eyes to create ghost faces. Set aside.
Step 5: Color the Chocolate
Divide the remaining white chocolate into 2 parts. Color one part orange and the other purple. Crush the sugar pumpkins to get orange sugar for the sprinkles. Dip pretzels in orange chocolate and place them on a parchment-lined board. Sprinkle with orange sugar and place a green candy bead.
Step 6: Decorate the Space Monsters
Coat the pretzels in the purple chocolate and decorate with sprinkles and candy eyes.
Chill the decorated pretzels in the refrigerator for 40 minutes before serving.
