Planting in the Wrong Spot

The plants are as good as people; they also require some conducive environment to perform well. Putting a plant that favors sun on the shade or a plant that requires shade under direct sun is suicide. This is especially important before planting time because you have to be keen to notice that some part of the yard receives more sunlight than the others.

Ignoring Soil Quality

It does not mean that soil is simply just the ground; it is the ground from which your garden develops. Lack of embracing the type of soil or not enriching it results in producing less plant growth. Check the PH of the soil and ammend it to provide the plants with the food they require, use organic manure such as compost.

When the flowers wilt they should be removed from the plant to make it produce even more flowers, a process known as deadheading. If you let flowers on your plants wilt, the energy goes to seeds and not to new growth. Prune off those old flowers to have your garden blooming.
