How to Play Mad Libs

Here’s how you play: one person holds the story and prompts another for random words—verbs, nouns, adjectives, and adverbs. The second person responds with the first word that comes to mind, and these words are then filled in the blanks.

Once all the blanks are filled, the completed story is read aloud. The result? Often, hilarious and nonsensical sentences that guarantee giggles and create fond memories. It’s a great way to share a laugh and spend quality time together on Father’s Day.
