How to Make Cat Earrings
Step-by-Step Video
STEP 1:
Please print out a cat figure outline or draw it on a piece of paper. This will serve as a guide to help shape the wire accurately, ensuring the final design is well-proportioned.

STEP 2:
Take a 22-gauge wire and use round-nose pliers to create the first curve. This will be the starting point of your cat shape.

STEP 3:
Place the wire over the printed or hand-drawn outline and carefully bend it along the design. Use your pliers to shape the curves smoothly, following the cat’s body structure.

STEP 4:
Once you reach the cat’s head, bend the wire to form the first ear, then shape the second ear symmetrically. Adjust the angles as needed to create well-defined ears.

STEP 5:
After shaping both ears, gently bend the wire into a rounded curve to form the cat’s head. Next, extend the wire outward and create a slightly larger, rounded shape to define the cat’s body. Carefully adjust the curves to maintain a smooth and balanced form, continuing until the wire meets the starting point, completing the cat’s outline.

STEP 6:
Wrap a 0.2mm wire around the joint where the cat’s body meets the starting point. This binding ensures the structure remains firm and stable.

STEP 7:
Curve the remaining wire to shape the cat’s tail, following the given outline for accuracy. You can create a smooth, flowing curve or a more intricate swirl, ensuring it aligns with the original design. Adjust as needed to maintain a well-balanced and cohesive look.

STEP 8:
Trim any excess wire and use round-nose pliers to create a small loop at the top. This loop will serve as the attachment point for the earring hook. Directly connect the earring hook to the loop. Repeat the same process to craft the second earring, making sure both earrings are symmetrical and match in shape and size.

That’s it. How adorable, right?
